Come il feltro può essere tagliato, cucito, incollato come un qualsiasi tessuto, arrivando anche a creare forme tridimensionali e pezzi di abbigliamento senza bisogno di alcun tipo di cucitura. Le differenze tra i due tessuti sono: SPESSORE, CONSISTENZA e PESANTEZZA; in generale il Panno Lenci è più morbido e malleabile rispetto al Feltro che risulta più duro, rigido e resistente.
